TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A body was discovered on Tucson's southwest side today.

According to the Pima County Sheriff's Department, the male body was found near South San Joaquin and West Snyder Hill roads at about 6:30 a.m.

The body, which showed obvious signs of trauma, was located along the gas line road in the area.

The investigation is being conducted by the Pima County Sheriff's Department Homicide Unit.

Anyone with information is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
