Reward offered for 27 guns stolen in Forsyth County

FORSYTH CO., GA (WTOC) - A reward is now being offered as police try to track down the thieves who stole more than two dozen guns from a Forsyth County pawn shop.

According to a news release from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the theft happened last Monday at a shop in Cumming, GA.

Investigators said the firearms pose a potential danger with the strong potential of being sold to or used by other criminals to commit violent crimes.

A total of $10,000 in reward money is now being offered for tips leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the theft.
