Veterans around the U.S. will be honored on Saturday with a wreath-laying ceremonies. It's part of the annual Wreaths Across America Day.

The non-profit Wreaths Across America, whose mission is to remember, honor and teach, works to expand the annual wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery to veterans' cemeteries and beyond.

Last year, there were 406,000 wreaths placed and 815 locations nationwide that participated.

The Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, the GAWAWA Warriors Walk at Fort Stewart, SCBNCB Beaufort National Cemetery and the SCSOCH Six Oaks Cemetery in Hilton Head are participating in Saturday's event. There is also an opportunity to sponsor a wreath.
