ETOWAH COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -

A 21-year-old Boaz man has been arrested on sodomy charges involving a 15-year-old male victim.

Barry Jacob Conne is accused of sodomizing the teenager on several different occasions at a home on Thornbill Road, according to the Etowah County Sheriff's Office. Authorities say it began in October 2012.

The sheriff's office says Conner admitted to having a sexual relationship with the teen while he was speaking with investigators. They also found pornographic images on his cell phone.

Conner faces two counts of second degree sodomy and one count of possession of pornography with minors.

He was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center on December 4 and released on a $75,000 property bond, according to the sheriff's office.
