BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) -

Authorities have arrested a man wanted in Beaufort County.

Officials say fugitive armed robbery suspect Brandon Raheem Taylor was arrested Wednesday afternoon at a residence in Colleton County.

Members of the U.S. Marshals Service Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Colleton County Sheriff's Office arrest Taylor without incident at a home in the 300 block of North Lemacks St in Walterboro.

According to the Beaufort Police Department, Taylor had been on the run since the Nov. 11 armed robbery of the Carolina Title Loan branch on Ribaut Rd in Beaufort. During the robbery, Taylor and co-defendant Joshua Reed allegedly held two employees of the business at gunpoint before fleeing the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Witnesses reported seeing Taylor and Reed fleeing the scene in Taylor's gray Dodge Magnum. Shortly after the vehicle description was broadcast, an off-duty officer spotted it traveling on Parris Island Gateway in Port Royal. A Port Royal police officer then attempted to stop the vehicle and Taylor jumped out and fled the area on foot.

Police say Reed remained in the vehicle and was taken into custody and charged with armed robbery.

Taylor is currently being held at the Beaufort County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
