Arizona Public Service restored power to more than 1,100 Scottsdale residents after an outage Friday morning, according to Arizona Public Service.
A broken insulator on a pole was blamed for the outage at 5:38 a.m. near Chaparral Road and the Arizona Canal.
In a separate incident, a fire on a wood power pole caused an outage near 19th Avenue and Cactus Road.
More than 200 customers were without power starting about 3:45 a.m., said Alan Bunnell of Arizona Public Service.
He said crews were working to restore the power as quickly as possible, though he had no estimate as to when.
