2004 United States Army Soldier Show Plays Hunter AAF

If you've ever served in the military, far from home, you know how important entertainment is. The 2004 United States Army Soldier Show took to the stage at Hunter Army Airfield last night.

The show highlights the musical talents of soldiers around the world. Last night's performance was especially meaningful for Spec. Danika Florence's family. Florence is a Fort Stewart soldier who sings in the show, and her family doesn't get to see her very often.

"It has been awesome," said Valerie Florence, the performer's stepmother. "I'm very excited. I'm so proud of her. It just brings me to tears. She's doing an awesome job."

The Army Soldier Show has traveled to military installations around the world, including Germany, Italy and Guantanomo Bay, Cuba. Their next stop is Fort Rucker, Alabama.
