One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash in White County on Christmas Day.
Officials say 45-year-old Bud L. Vines of Sparta, TN, was driving his 1996 Dodge Dakota north on Highway 111 when he hit a retaining wall.
The vehicle rolled down an embankment, ejecting Vines from the vehicle, before it came to a stop in the median.
According to the report, Vines was not wearing a seat belt and officials say it would have made a difference.
The time of the crash is not known at this time.
Tests have been requested to determine if alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash.
