Police respond to armed robbery at restaurant

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

An armed robbery happened at a Huntsville restaurant right next door to one that was robbed last week.

The crime happened around 9:20 p.m. Friday at China House on Old Madison Pike. Investigators said a man wearing a mask and armed with a handgun demanded cash. Police said workers gave him money from the register, and then the thief drove away in a yellow vehicle.

Last week, someone robbed the Subway next door to China House.

No one has been arrested yet. This investigation is ongoing.
