Fans of Savannah's local music scene have a treat in store.
Thursday night at the Sentient Bean, the foundation art was put in place for what's being billed as a "user built history of rock music in Savannah".
The display included posters and pictures from the music scene dating back over 50 years.
Beginning Friday night people have a chance to add their own photos and memorabilia to the collaborative, living work of art.
"It's just to celebrate the music that's happened throughout the decades," said Robyn Reeder of Blickaret Materials. "Savannah's such a transient town with the students coming and going and bands coming and going, it's nice to see a curated event where we can remember all these different banks who have played locally in Savannah; different bars that have come and gone. It's good to see it all come together in one spot."
The display will continue through January and will change as new memorabilia is added.
