One person dead after head on wreck in Titus County

TITUS COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

One person is dead and multiple others are in area hospitals after a head on wreck in Titus County.

Mt. Pleasant fire officials confirm with KLTV that two vehicles collided on FM 3417, just west of Highway 271 in Titus County early Saturday evening. This is just south of Mt. Pleasant.

Authorities say that one person is dead as a result of the accident and four others were transported to area hospitals. Two people were transported by ambulance to Titus Regional Medical Center and two others were transported by two helicopters to a Tyler hospital. The names and conditions of those involved is not yet known.
