SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Anitra Hicks, a Savannah woman who pleaded guilty in her baby's death, will face sentencing Monday.

Metro investigators say Hicks killed her newborn son, wrapped him in trash bags, and then threw him in the garbage.

Hicks pleaded guilty Thursday to voluntary manslaughter and concealing a death. She could face anywhere between one to thirty-years in jail.

Sentencing for Hicks is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
