SEDA starts 2014 with new leader

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

A new year brings a new leader and logo to the Savannah Economic Development Authority.

At Tuesday's meeting, the gavel was passed to new Chairman Robert James. He takes over for David Patterson. They also approved a new logo and the slogan Propel Business.

James said he is excited to take over during such an exciting time.

"We are looking forward to an outstanding two years - there is a lot to be done - and with the outstanding staff we have here at SEDA we know that we are going to accomplish a great deal," James said.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announced an expansion and the World Trade Center Savannah also welcomed new members at the meeting.
