Winter alone is a slow time for Tybee Islands. Add subfreezing temperatures and it can feel downright miserable. But not for one fun loving restaurant.
The guys at Hucapoo's on Tybee Island used a pressure washer on a homemade slide to create a luge.
On Monday night, it was just pretty much a water slide. By 8 a.m. Tuesday, it looked like snow. They sprayed the area so much that the stairs and banisters got a good coating as well.
"[It] turned out real well. We had snowboards going down it last night, but we have since outlawed the snowboarding," said Eric Thomas of Tybee Island.
They encouraged people to enjoy their snow slide at the beach.
