SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police say a Crimestoppers tip helped arrest a man believed to be responsible for burglarizing a computer store in the 3000 block of Skidaway Road last November.

Officials say John Fitzgerald Frazier, 49, of Savannah, was brought in for questioning and eventually taken into custody Wednesday. According to SCMPD, detectives were made aware of Frazier's location through a Crimestoppers tip.

On Nov. 11, Metro responded to reports of an open door at the east Savannah computer store where officers found the glass entry door shattered. Surveillance footage indicated that at 9 p.m. the night before, a single suspect fitting Fitzgerald's description entered the store by force. Two computers were reported stolen.

Fitzgerald is charged with second degree burglary.
