NEWBERRY COUNTY, SC (WIS) -

A domestic argument led Newberry County Sheriff's deputies to a meth lab in Whitmire.

Deputies were called to the home on Jack Wilson Road at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday for an argument between a father and son. Deputies say the father told arriving officers he was arguing with is son, Robert Ellis "Robbie" Dilleshaw, Jr., about his manufacturing meth.

The son ran from the scene, but deputies caught up with him.

Once deputies determined there was a working meth lab at the house, haz-mat crews were called to clean it up.

Sheriff Lee Foster says crews have cleaned up the home and there is no threat or danger to the surrounding community.

Deputies arrested 31-year-old Dilleshaw, Matthew Felker, 34, and Christine Leah Davis, 34.  The were taken to the Newberry County Detention Center to await a bond hearing.

"We have a responsibility as law enforcement officers and citizens of this county, to work proactively to keep this community safe and maintain that standard," said Foster. "We work to combat drugs in the community at every level. It takes an entire community to make this happen."
