Police looking for man who robbed Huntersville Walmart

HUNTERSVILLE, NC (WBTV) -

Police in Huntersville are asking for your help in identifying a man who robbed a Walmart early Saturday morning.

The incident was reported at 6:52 a.m. at the Walmart on Bryton Town Center Drive, according to a news release from the Huntersville Police Department.

Officers arrived and were told by store employees that a black male entered the store wearing a black quilted-style jacket, gray pants and a brown-colored towel draped over his head to aid in his disguise. 

The suspect approached a cashier, spraying her clothing with an unknown substance and demanding cash from the registers. 

The cashier was unharmed and the suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store on foot.
