Many renewed their vows, but their was one couple who said "I do" for the first time ever, waiting more than three years for this day to come.

Deandra Fennell has been waiting for this day longer than most brides.

"I'm very very happy that im going to be Mrs. Deandra Turner now," she said.

Fennell and her fiance, MSgt. William Turner, had to postpone any plans for a wedding after Fennel's mother was diagnosed with lung cancer.

"My savings account was basically depleted for my dream wedding, you could say," said Fennell.

She and her fiance waited and waited for open enrollement to apply for Weddings for Warriors, her last hope at having the wedding she always imagined.

And they were selected.

Like every young bride's dream, Fennell got her makeup and hair done by professionals. Her dress was donated and professional photography provide, all thanks to Weddings for Warriors.

"I'm very happy. People have put so much in place. It's the closest to the real thing. The only thing is, my mom still can't be here with me, but she's here with me in spirit," said Fennell.

And so at 4 p.m., for the last time as Deandra Fennell, she walked down the isle to her soon-to-be-husband to say "I do."

"I felt very much like a princess," said the now Mrs. Deandra Turner. "It was like a dream come true."

"I was very happy, very happy and very nervous," said Mr. Turner her new husband.
