Goodwill of the Coastal Empire celebrated the opening of a new story Thursday.
They held a grand opening and ribbon cutting for the new 15,000 square feet complex located on Grand central Boulevard in the Godley Station area of Pooler.
The facility houses a full-scale retail center, a donation drop-off center and a job connection center which offers job seekers access to job leads.
"We also offer the opportunity for them to sharpen some of those skills that would hinder them from finding competitive employment, such as helping them get a GED, financial literacy, balancing their books and managing their money," said Brenda Polland, vice president of Mission Services.
The festivities included a job fair and a fashion show.
