Douglas man arrested for multiple armed robberies

DOUGLAS, GA (WALB) -

34 year old Gregory Bernard Lee was arrested Wednesday for robbing the Douglas Aden's Minit Mart, and Papa John's Pizza, ten days later.

Aden's Minit Mart, 2124 Douglas Broxton Hwy was robbed on New Year's Day, and Papa John's Pizza on Ward St. was held up on January 10.Officers were able to identify the same suspect in both incidents.

Wednesday, officers from the Douglas Police Department, assisted by the Coffee County Sheriff's Office,  Ware County Sheriff's Office, Waycross Police Department, and Officers from the Ga. Parole Office, Arrested 34 year old Gregory Bernard Lee for these robberies.

Lee will be charged with two counts of Armed Robbery, two counts of Aggravated Assault, two counts of Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and two counts of Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
