Savannah -

As Metro Police continue investigating the shooting death of 24 year old Marvin Hills, his family and friends came together on Sunday night to remember him and to plead for justice.

Hills was found with a gun shot wound inside a car on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on Friday morning.

"Whoever did this to him, they are going to pay for it, because God is going to punish them," said Hills' grandmother, Shirley Smith.

His mother, Deborah Lacount, was in the car behind him when it happened.

"I opened the door and I said "Marvin?" He was like, just sitting, and I said, "Marvin," she said. "Then, I looked back and I saw two holes in the back of his head. Then, I just flipped out."

Hills was pronounced dead at Memorial Universal Medical Center, and the people responsible are still on the loose.

"I miss my baby," said Lacount. "That's my baby, and whoever took my baby from me, they were dead wrong."

Hills' grandmother says it is time for all of the crime to stop.

"These children and these boys need to get themselves together. We need to stop all of this foolishness," she said.

Hills' death is still under investigation.
