The Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion at St. Joseph's/Candler has launched a new class to help cancer survivors.
The free, six-week workshop is designed specifically to help cancer survivors make the transition from active treatment to post-treatment care.
Health care professionals, nutritionists and fitness experts will speak on topics that are tailored to each participant's ability training in relaxation, stress management and nutritious eating. It will answer many questions about cancer survivorship post-cancer treatment.
The class runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Thursday from Jan. 23 to , every Feb. 27. Refreshments are provided. The classes will be held at the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion at 225 Candler Dr.
