Man charged in 2012 shooting death of two people

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

A Chatham County Grand Jury has indicted Walter Terry Moon, 34, for murder and related charges in the Sept. 1, 2012 shooting deaths of Michael Biancasino and Emily Pickels.

Biancasino and Pickels were found dead inside Biancosino's crashed car at the intersection of Henry Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in east Savannah.

Moon is charged with two counts of malice murder, four counts of felony murder, two counts of aggravated assault, four counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon during a crime, attempt to obtain a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and recidivism.

His will appear in court at an undetermined future date.
