CAVALIERS DOWN RAIDERS 62-55

It was a full house at Calvary Friday night as the Cavs hosted the Raiders of Savannah Christian Prep.

The Raiders were looking to rebound after losing a two straight, but it was a tough night to do so as they visited a tough 11-2 Calvary squad.

In the first half, things were tight, tied at 11 all when the Raiders' Kam Waddy fed Amahad Johnson waiting underneath the basket for the easy bucket.

Later, A.J. Sanders showed off his handles with the crossover, then he rolls off of his man to hit the jumper from the top of the key to help the Raiders extend their lead.

The Cavs responded as A.J. Keene took the no look pass for the easy bucket off the glass, getting Calvary back in the game, now down 28-23.

The Cavaliers made up ground in the second half and pulled off the 62-55 win to improve to 12-2.

CLAXTON DEFEATS SAVANNAH COUNTRY DAY 49-46

Claxton's Kyle Vilet returned the favor as he drained the three to tie up the game.

Tigers built some good momentum early on as Cornelius Taylor hit the jumper off the wing for two of his 21 points to lead the Tigers to a 49-46 win, improving their record to 10-9.
