WV man wanted in connection to Ridgeland burglary

RIDGELAND, SC (WTOC) -

A West Virginia man has been identified in connection with the Jan. 29 burglary of the Carolina Collision Center located at 11365 N. Jacob Smart Blvd. in Ridgeland, SC. 

Christopher James Wines, 27, of Alderson, WV broke into the business early Wednesday morning and stole several items, including tools and a credit card. He was identified by investigators from security surveillance showing him using the stolen credit card at several different locations.

A warrant for second degree burglary has been issued for Wines.

The Ridgeland Police Dept. has three outstanding warrants for larceny, as well as one warrant for malicious injury to property from prior incidents on Jan. 7 and 9.

Wines is also being sought by the U.S. Marshall Service in connection with two stolen vehicles and a stolen vehicle pursuit in Yemassee, SC.
