SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah-based personal injury attorney Jamie Casino is getting national attention for his two-minute Super Bowl ad for his Casino Law Group.

In the television commercial, Casino describes how his brother Michael Biancasino's fatal shooting over the 2012 Labor Day Weekend changed how he practices law. He says in the video that he was once an attorney who defended notorious criminals, but now defends victims.

"I'm attorney Jamie Casino and I don't represent villians anymore. I speak for innocent victims who cannot speak for themselves," Casino says in his video.

The shooting deaths of Emily Pickles and her ex-boyfriend Biancasino led to then Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Chief Willie Lovett to make the statement: "There were no innocent victims." Read the 2012 story on Lovett's comments.

Lovett later issued a clarification, but Casino, told WTOC how hurtful the comments were. On Sunday night, Casino unleashed a Super Bowl commercial unloading venom on the former chief, the police department, and used his brother's murder as the impetus for a new calling for his law firm. WTOC talks to Casino. Watch Don Logana's report on THE News at 6.
