The Hinds County Board of Supervisors held its regular meeting on Monday, Feb. 3.
The supervisors voted to cancel one of two Airwave contracts. Airwave, LLC is a small company run by Stacey Stowers. They are under contract to perform monitoring and maintenance the six communication tower sites scattered throughout the county.
A waste water request motion was passed. Supervisors Kenneth Stokes and Robert Graham voted against it. Supervisor Peggy Calhoun wants to ask legislature for $50 million for a centralized waste water facility.
