U.S. Marshals arrest man wanted for Harvey double shooting that left one dead

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - U.S. Marshals have arrested a Marrero man, wanted for a shooting that left 39-year-old Tyrone Jenkins dead and another man injured. Michael Brown, 22, of Marrero was taken into custody Tuesday by members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Task Force.  The shooting took place Sunday in the 1000 block of Dimarco Drive in Marrero.

According to police, Brown was transported to the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center where he was booked with one count of second-degree murder and one count of attempted second-degree murder.
