The Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace in Savannah is undergoing a major restoration project, which includes work to the west stairwell, where they are planning to place a time capsule for the Girl Scouts of 2214.
The stairs were enclosed in 1818 and they believe the Girl Scouts of the future will not have to restore them until 2214, 200 years from now.
"We have invited people from all over the United States, girl scouts who have visited here, girl scouts who are just starting, or in some cases are very mature girl scouts who have been doing it for a very long time to send pictures and messages for the girls of 2214," said Katherine Keena of the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace.
