GAINESVILLE, FL (RNN) - No. 3 Florida picked up its 20th win of the season and ninth straight conference win after taking down Missouri 68-58 on Tuesday.

The first half of the game was a back-and-forth, low-scoring affair, with the Tigers (16-6, 4-5 SEC) leading 28-25 at the half thanks to a 3-point buzzer beater by Jabari Brown. The Gators (20-2, 9-0) grabbed the lead a couple of more times and managed to hold onto it for good with nine minutes left. Mizzou struggled with fouls, committing 26 fouls compared to Florida's 16.

The Tigers kept the game close with stronger 3-point shooting, making 38.1 percent from downtown compared to the Gators' 30 percent. Florida, however, held a stronger advantage in field goals and free throws, making 44.2 percent and 72.7 percent, respectively. Mizzou made 39.6 percent of its field goals and 66.7 percent of its free throws.

Brown led the Tigers with 15 points, six assists and two steals. Jordan Clarkson was close behind with 14 points.

Scottie Wilbekin led the Gators with 19 points. Michael Frazier II added 14 points.

The game marked Florida's 14th straight win of the season, but for Missouri it marked its second straight loss against a ranked opponent.
