In high school basketball, Southeast Bulloch visited Savannah High. The Blue Jackets struck from long range first. Kaelin Jones nailed the three to get Southeast Bulloch on the board.
The Yellow Jackets trailed. Jason Lawton drove in the lane and Jamal Norman missed the ally- oop but came through with the put back.
Savannah High was on a roll as Jermaine Williams drove in the paint. It took a bad bounce but Chris Cokley was there for the two-handed dunk.
Savannah High took the win on senior night 67-51.
Bulldogs down Sharks 53-42
The Beach High Bulldogs were home to Islands High. It was all the Bulldogs in the third quarter Jermal Baker went up and under and Marlon Bryant went inside.
Derrick McKinney was there with the putback.
Jermaine Bigham's squad went on to win 53-42.
Calvary wins over Country Day 59-44
Calvary was home to Savannah Country Day. In the second quarter, the Hornets' Ben Johnson hit the long three and Calvary came back. Robert Heyward was open inside, and Derek Kirkland went in off the glass. Calvary went on to win 59-44. Khaliq Hughes led the way with 19.
Braves down Blazers 65-43
Bethesda was home playing host to Bible Baptist.
The Blazers were trailing, with Taylor Mathis on the drive. He took it to the hole, drew the foul, and scored, earning one foul shot. Score was then 28-16 Bible Baptist.
In the second half, Kach Askew took the ball and passed it to Deloach who went off the backboard for the easy two.
Bethesda could not seem to catch up in this one. The Braves won it 65-43. Bible Baptist will take on Charelston Collegiate on Friday for a share of the region title at stake.
Warrior girls win 78-27 over Groves
In girls play, James Burke's Jenkins Warriors played host to Groves.
In the fourth quarter, it was all the Warriors. Teiyana Gordon went through the lane.
Then it was Faith Sanders off the backboard.
Jenkins won 78-27 as Faith Sanders put in 29 points.
