DEKALB COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

The man accused of killing his landlord will have to post a quarter of a million dollars bond.

A DeKalb County judge increased Christopher Landers' bond from $100,000 to $250,000 at a hearing Wednesday. Landers is charged with murdering his landlord, Michael Jenkins.

Investigators said Landers shot Jenkins during a dispute at a mobile home on County Road 77 in the Mount Vernon community.

Landers is in the DeKalb County Detention Center.
