An annual fundraising mixer was held to benefit the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
Group members from Team Mission Possible hosted Pinking Outside the Box at the Dosha Bar and Lounge Wednesday night.
The event features drink specials, lots of raffles and great music. One of the members who hosted the event explained why this cause is so important.
"One out of 18 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and so this is important for us because Susan G. Komen, the money that we raise stays right here," said Mission Possible Team co-chair Lavetris Singleton. "Seventy-five percent stays right here in Coastal Georgia, and that's really important for us."
The 2014 Susan G. Komen takes place right here in Savannah on April 12.
