The second annual Coastal Business Education and Technology Alliance Innovative Leadership Awards honored leaders of future industry at Savannah Station last night. About 400 people joined in the ceremony as C-BETA recognized those who bringing 21st-century technology to the coastal region.
Awards were given out for innovative use of technology in the government, business, and education categories.
"This is a dynamically expanding creative technology community," said C-BETA president David Frost. "The organizations serves as a cheerleader and is dedicated to bringing the community together."
Our own Jody Chapin served as emcee for the awards ceremony.
They awarded a shocked David Frost their highest honor for innovative leadership. They also raised about $14,000 for the Coastal BETA scholarship program.
