Lots of young people in Savannah showed off their pearly whites Friday.
Local dentists and student hygienists teamed up for Give Kids a Smile Day at Savannah Technical College.
It's a signature event of Natural Children's Dental Health Month.
"Dental decay is the most prominent childhood disease as well as one of the leading causes of school absenteeism, so we are working here as a team in Savannah for Children's Dental health Month and giving back to the community the cleanings, x-rays, fillings," said general dentist Dr. Felix Mahler.
They provided free dental services for more than 100 children ages three to 17. The children also received a free goodie bag with a toothbrush, toothpaste and floss.
