It does not look like we'll escape the snow machine tonight. The current pattern is lending itself to one chance of snow right after another.
We are looking at another possibility of snowfall after midnight. The best chance for this snow to fall will be in areas north of I-20 where temperatures will be coldest. This could include Marion, Winston and Cullman counties in our viewing area. South of I-20 we can expect a mix of rain and snow.
This will be similar setup to yesterday with snowfall accumulating in mainly the grassy areas, on tops of cars, and rooftops. We can expect temperatures tonight around 35. Travel should not be an issue with temperatures warming to above freezing by daybreak.
Highs Saturday will reach the mid 50s with the return of some sunshine. It looks like Sunday will be mainly sunny with highs in the upper 50s.
