CLAXTON BOYS DOWNS TATTNALL COUNTY 62-56

The Claxton Tigers were looking for to build momentum Friday night.
 
Cornelius Taylor for the Tigers with the steal and layup at the other end early in the game to make it 4-0.
 
The Warriors battled hard, Tee Smith took the ball on the break to Demetrius Smith to make it 9-8 Tigers.
 
However the Tigers would pull away, Cornelius Taylor scored 29 points.
 
Claxton runs away to a 62-56 victory,  improving to 11-12 for the season.

TATTNALL COUNTY GIRLS EARN SPLIT FOR BATTLE CREEK WARRIORS

Tattnall County held a 30-14 lead at the half.
 
The Lady Tigers would try to battle back with Keri Brown hitting a jumper. She had 10 points.
 
The Lady Warriors would hold on. Katie Collins from the corner, she had 11.
 
Tattnal's Kierria Mcdonald led all scorers with 18.
 
Tattnall county takes a 57-39 victory, snapping claxton's 10-game home court winning streak.
The Lady Warriors improve to 22-2.
 
BRYAN COUNTY BOYS BREAK CENTURY MARK

In Pembroke on Friday night, Bryan County took on the Long County Blue Tide.
 
Kajana Dixon with the offensive rebound for the redskins and the jumper. He had 37 points and 12 rebounds.
 
AJ Simmons hits the long 2 for bryan county. He had 25 with 16 rebounds.
 
The Redskins pull out a 107-97 triumph in overtime to improve to 9-16 for the season.
 
SHARKS END SLIDE WITH WIN OVER HORNETS
 
Savannah Country Day was home to the Islands Sharks on Friday night.
 
Islands gets on the board early with a three off the wing by Ramon Gross.
 
The hornets respond, oliver cesar dishes across the key to ben johnson....with the jumper in the paint. The hornets with all the momentum in the first half. 
 
Demetrius Robertson teed up from beyond the arc for three. 
 
This one belongs to Coach Demassi and the Sharks as they win it 45-37. The win snaps a 12 game loosing streak for Islands.
 
COUNTRY DAY GIRLS WIN OVER ISLANDS

In girls play Country Day is up by four in the second. Taylor Parker drives it down the middle with the easy layup. She draws the foul and one.
 
Taylor Prince has a few of these shots tonight. She takes it coast to coast, drives to the hole for two. That tied the game at 17
 
In the fourth, Landry rushing off the steal and the lay up at the other end.

The Hornets pull off the win 43-27.

NATALIE GOODMAN IS NOW A BULLDOG

Tonight at Country Day, the Hornets take time to honor Natalie Goodman, who is already part of the University of Georgia Soccer program. 

Goodman is an early enrollee for the Bulldogs as she's met her high school requirements, and is on campus in Athens.

ATOMSMASHERS DOWN APPLING COUNTY IN GIRLS

The Atomsmashers were home to Appling County on Friday.
 
Johnson would win it 68-35.
