Red Cross offers annual citizenship test prep class

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The American Red Cross will be offering a Preparing for Citizenship Class for immigrants wishing to prepare for their U.S. citizenship test and interview in Savannah. 

The free class will run for six consecutive Saturdays at the Southwest Chatham Branch of the Live Oak Public Library, 14097 Abercorn Street in Savannah starting March 1 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. It will conclude on April 5. Class size is limited and will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

    The Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department is investigating the shooting of a teenager at East 39th and Live Oak streets. Officials say around 7:30 p.m. Thursday night, a teenager was shot while riding a bicycle. According to police, the teen suffered non-life threatening injuries.
