EFFINGHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

Traffic is moving again on US 80 in westbound in Effingham County near the Bryan County line after a four-vehicle wreck late Friday morning.

It happened westbound on US 80 near Elm Street and Rose Road and involved four vehicles that were travelling westbound. The first car stopped due to construction, which resulted in a chain reaction crash, according to the Georgia State Patrol. No one was injured.

Two vehicles were drivable after the crash. The other two vehicles had to be towed. Traffic was backed up and one lane had been closed. The Effingham County Sheriff's Office handed traffic while crews worked to clear the crash from the roadway.

The wreck has since been cleared, all lanes of US 80 in the area have reopened. Traffic is flowing normally once again.
