Hundreds of students to attend Junior Achievement's Career Day

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Jr. Achievement of Georgia's Southern District partners with Johnson High School for Career Day 2014 on Wednesday.

JA Career Day is a one-day program that shares the world of work with high school students.

JA activities focus on job responsibilities, education and skills. Through JA Career Day, their career awareness is developed, and the critical link between school and the workplace is strengthened.

"We have had a tremendous response from the community by providing speakers that will present to over 60 classes. Jr. Achievement is volunteer driven and this is an excellent example of the impact the community can have at a school," said Jen Singeisen, Director of Programs for Junior Achievement of Georgia's Southern District, in a news release.
