COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Three suspects are behind bars at the Muscogee County Jail for allegedly raping, shooting, and setting a woman on fire on New Year's Day.

Ketorie Glover, Robert Johnson, and Joey Garron are the suspects. Police say the men forced a woman into a car at gunpoint and raped her. They then allegedly shot her and set the car on fire with the woman still inside.

The woman was found screaming for help in a wooded area on Farr Rd. after the alleged attack. She was transported to Midtown Medical Center and has since had extensive medical treatment.

The victim's cousin says the woman was attacked by the men due to a conflict that happened during a rap contest.

Glover appeared in court Monday morning, where he pleaded not guilty.

He is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, aggravated sexual assault and sodomy, rape, first degree arson, hijacking a motor vehicle, kidnapping, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

His bond amounts totalled $300,000, but he was not granted bond for the aggravated sodomy, hijacking, rape, and aggravated sexual battery charges.

The other two suspects remain in police custody.
