News release from: Department of the Air Force Headquarters, Combat Readiness Training Center:

Master Sergeant Issac 'Ice' Wright has earned promotion to the senior non-commissioned officers' rank of Senior Master Sergeant (SMSgt).

SMSgt Wright serves as the Airfield Manager for Flight Operations at Savannah's Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC), Georgia Air National Guard.  The CRTC is headquartered across the airfield from the Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport.  Senior Master Sergeants are key, experienced, operational leaders, skilled at merging their personnel's talents, skills, and resources with other teams' functions to most effectively accomplish the mission. These senior noncommissioned officers continue to develop their leadership and management skills in preparation for expanded responsibilities and higher leadership positions, typically operating at the operational or decision-making leadership level. Calling upon his own experience gained over many years of service, SMSgt Wright has scheduled and coordinated the deployments of more than six hundred military, government and civilian organizations with a mission impact exceeding 225,000 National Guard training days and their proper execution at the CRTC. Additionally, he assisted in the planning and execution of a $12 million airfield ramp renovation project for the readiness center providing all-new parking for all types of military aircraft in the current inventory to include fifth generation fighters.    SMSgt Wright and his family reside in Rincon, GA.
