Five indicted in November armed robbery attempt

The Beaufort County Grand Jury indicted five individualsinvolved in an attempted robbery that occurred in November that resulted in thedeath of 20-year-old Jerrit Timberson.

Champagne White-Timberson, Brandy Hardy and Sierra Powerswere charged with criminal conspiracy. Kelsey Dent was charged with armedrobbery and criminal conspiracy. Karl Lyttle, the man who opened fire in selfdefense, killing Timberson, faces drug charges.

Investigators said Lyttle met with Dent and Jerrit Timbersonat a house on Hookstra Drive when they tried to rob him.

Police said they pulled out fake guns and Lyttle pulled outa real gun and started shooting.
