Red Cross to hold Citizenship class

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Southeast Georgia Chapter of the Red Cross isoffereing a Preparing for Citizenship class for immigrants to prepare for theirU.S. Citizenship test and interview.

The class will be held on six consecutive Saturdays,beginning on March 1, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The classes will be held atthe Southwest Chatham Branch of the Live Oak Public Library, located on 14097Abercorn St.

The class will focus on U.S. civics and history and is freeof charge.

Students are strongly encouraged to purchase the student booksand CD study material for $59 if paid in advance by Feb. 21. Otherwise,materials will cost $69.

Class space is limited, and signups are on a first comefirst serve basis.
