Former Bloomingdale firefighter arrested for child molestation and sodomy

BLOOMINGDALE, GA (WTOC) -

Former Bloomingdale volunteer firefighter and former command of the junior firefighter program, Brad Hollenbach, was arrested on Friday for child molestation and sodomy.

Hollenbach was arrested around 1:30 p.m. by Bloomingdale Police on Friday for four felony charges. According to the jail log, Hollenbach faces one count of aggravated sodomy, two counts of child molestation and one count of enticing a child for indecent purposes.

Hollenbach was informed that his services were no longer needed when allegations surfaced about two weeks ago, according to Bloomingdale mayor Ben Rozier.

No word on if the investigation is related to Hollenbach's work with the junior firefighter program.
