Ga. Hwy 21 in Rincon has reopened Saturday after a wreck involving a motorcyclist and a Rincon Police officer shut down lanes.
The wreck shutdown northbound lanes of Ga. Hwy 21 around 1 p.m. near the Lisa Street intersection.
According to Georgia State Patrol, the officer was traveling northbound on Ga. Hwy 21 and slowed down, the motorcycle hit the officer's vehicle and the motorcyclist was ejected. The motorcyclist was transported with reported non-life-threatening injuries to Memorial University Medical Center.
Possible charges of following too close are pending.
