Two teens transported to hospital following ATV accident

CASS COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

Two 15-year-old children are in the hospital after being involved in an ATV accident Sunday afternoon in Cass County.

The accident happened around 5 p.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of County Road 2748 northeast of Hughes Springs.

DPS officials tell KLTV that a 15-year old boy and a 15-year-old girl were both transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview following the accident. The girl was transported by helicopter and the boy transported by ambulance. The exact condition and names of the two has not been released.

At this time officials have not released details on what caused the accident, but have said that the scene has been cleared.
