MONETTE, AR (KAIT) - A home in Monette was destroyed by fire on Thursday morning.
Firefighters from Monette and Lake City were called to 213 North Edmonds Street Thursday around 8:30a.m.
Monette Fire Chief Bob Blankenship said no one was home at the time of the fire. He said the fire looked like it started in the kitchen and spread from there.
Blankenship says the fire was reported by a person driving by the house who called 911.
