SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

If you have old electronics that you need to get rid of, there's going to be a recycle event this weekend during the Great Savannah Cleanup.

The Great Savannah Cleanup runs from March 1 through June 30.

On Saturday in Wells Park, the four-month-long event will kick off with volunteers helping to pick up trash, remove graffiti, and mulch trees. There's also going to be a free health screening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The electronic recycling event will take place on Saturday at 38th Street and MLK Jr. Boulevard, where citizens can recycle most home electronics, including computers, televisions, monitors, cell phones, fax machines, printers and small appliances. There will be a fee charged for CRT TV's and monitors, wooden consoles, projection and plasma TV's.

To organize a neighborhood cleanup, contact Keep Savannah Beautiful Coordinator Nathaniel Glover at 912.651.1967.
