SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah-ChathamMetropolitan Police Dept.'s Downtown Precinct detectives are looking for a FordMustang that was captured on surveillance video in connection with vandalismthat occurred at the Battlefield Memorial Park.

Policesaid a purple or dark blue Ford Mustang fastback drove onto Battlefield MemorialPark early Sunday morning, spun around in circles on the parade ground andmonument section and drove away on Harris Street. The stones on the monumentwere damaged and the parade lawn has deep tire marks in it.

TheMustang is believed to be a 2010 model with chrome exhausts. The video showsthe car crossing Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and going west ontoLouisville Road about 12:08 a.m. Sunday. The car can be seen a few secondslater in the background spinning circles in the park.

Thecar looks purple on the video, but it may be a color Ford calls Vista Blue.
